Hi!  So  here’s the scoop on me.  My name is Marilyn and I live in Florida, originally from New Jersey.   Yep, I am a Jersey Girl and proud of it!!!!!! But most importantly, I am  a mother of three and a grandmother of nine!  They are all my inspiration and my life.   Recently I found myself unemployed so when I finally came to grips with that, I accepted whatever it was that would be my new normal.  That’s when I began to make a list of all the things I had wanted to do but never had the time or energy while working and raising a family.  It is kind of like my very own “Bucket List”.  Hopefully, I will not be kicking any buckets in the near future.     So being a creative person, I started painting again.  I intend to share some of my artwork with you soon.  The other dream of mine has been to gather stories of events or happenings that made a difference in people’s lives.  My wish is to use this collection to inspire others.  So that is the main reason for my blog.   Of course I hope to entertain you with some of my “grannyisms” and art, share a few laughs, thoughts, ideas, and stories.        Back to you soon.    Marilyn (more…)

Hello again.  As I mentioned in my other post,   I am gathering a collection of  Stories from the Heart and hopefully those of you bloggers who read this will have one you want to tell.  The purpose is to touch others lives to inspire hope, courage and new direction.    The stories may be about some happening in your life that left you in wonder! Your story will hopefully awaken the reader in some way to ultimately make even a small difference in their life.   It doesn’t have to be a long story.   Best to use first names only, whether fictitious or real.    An outline is fine or just list the story path and the facts.  Soooooo, a BIG thank you in advance to all you Rogue Writers like me that have a story to share. Happy writing and make waves on your keyboard!
